FAQ - Criminal Defense

How can I get someone out of jail?
In most cases, people will have a bond amount which can be paid either in cash or through a bail bondsman. If there is no bond or if the bond is too high, then the person may request that the Court set a reasonable bond.

How long will my case last?
Most misdemeanor cases typically last for several months. Felony cases can last much longer with the level of severity being a major factor. These estimates are just that – estimates, as some cases may be over in a matter of weeks and some cases can last years.

Do I need to attend my Arraignment?
Although this is a mandatory Court appearance, there is a waiver that we can file as to excuse your attendance.

Will I have to go to jail?
This is a common question that unfortunately cannot be answered. It is dependent on many factors such as the severity of the charge and any prior criminal record. Call today to discuss your particular situation.
